Powderham Castle ran trials for 40 years but, after a nine-year absence from the eventing calendar, 2008 will see this venue host their very first International following its move from Bicton. With the heart of the event taking place in front of the castle itself, the increased acreage at Powderham means that the three brand-new cross-country courses designed by Olympic designer Mike Etherington-Smith can be up to maximum length. These, together with well-drained soil and great viewing facilities, promise a superb day for both competitors and spectators alike.
Powderham Castle is located between Exeter and Dawlish, six miles south of Exeter on A379.
